Information about the parish of Grojec comes to our time from the 13th and 14th centuries and it is considered to have been founded between 1285 and 1325. There is a high probability, that at first only a chapel stood here, which was completely sufficient for the needs of the local believers. Its location is closely related to the castle, on whose territory it stood. As the village grew, the number of believers increased and the chapel grew into a small church, the patron of which is St. Lawrence - deacon and martyr. Current St. Lawrence Church was built in 1765-1766. Franciszek Szembek - the governor of Grojec at the time - allocated funds for the building of the church, which was supposed to take place on the site of the old one, built in 1680, but due to poor quality materials, the structure was recognized as very unstable. When the building of the larger church began in 1765, Count Franciszek Szembek died. After his death, his wife Ana Potocka continued the building. Consecrated in 1767, the church served the parishioners for many years, but due to the development of the area and the increase in population in the village, it became too cramped. At the beginning of the 20th century the side chapel was enlarged, and the sacristy was moved to a new brick annex. Now St. Lawrence Church is no longer used for religious purposes, but is preserved as an architectural monument. Since 2000, the new brick church of Our Lady of Mercy (Ostrabramska) has been used for religious purposes.

A small, well-designed and fairly richly detailed model of a simple wooden church, that conveys the modern look of the building. Even a modeler with little experience, working under the supervision of a more experienced colleague, can glue the model perfectly. With a second magazine, this publication can be turned into an architectural model - a masterpiece, but it will take a lot of photos, patience and effort The publication has a rubbed cover, the details are intact and undamaged - that's why it is being sold at a lower price.
