The small missile ship "Mirazh" was included in the naval shipbuilding plan on 04/11/1983 and the keel was laid on 30/08/1983 in a slip (production number 77) of the Leningrad "Primorskyj" shipyard. Launched on 19/08/1986 and soon after was moved through the inland water systems from the Baltic to the Sea of Azov and from there to the Black Sea for acceptance trials. Commissioned on 12/30/1986 and entered the Black Sea Fleet on 2/24/1987. The ship has repeatedly won the Navy Commander-in-Chief's prize for missile training (as part of a strike group). In the period from 08.08.2008 to 08.22.2008 he participated in the maritime phase of the war with Georgia (August 2008 conflict), during which, while repelling the attack of four Georgian torpedo cutters at sea, he sank one of them with a counter strike - a ship's missile. Project 1234.1 small missile ship "Mirazh" is currently part of the 166th Novorossiysk Small Missile Ship Division of the 41st Missile Boat Brigade and is believed to be engaged in a predatory war against Ukraine. A well-designed, well-detailed model, with metallic bronze paint, printing used where needed. The model, although small but complex, is recommended for intermediate and experienced modelers. There are sheets with double-sided printing.
The publication is divided into pages, but fully complete, combined into a set with a plastic spine.
