Project 1190 monitor "Lazo" (since 25 September 1940 "Chasan") lead ship - her keel laid at factory no. 112 or in "Krasna Sormovo" in Gorky in 1936. April 18. It was followed by two more - "Simbircev" (later "Perekop") and "Seryšev" (later "Sivaš"). Their assembly and completion took place in Khabarovsk, where they were sent in sections by rail. According to other sources, the keel of "Chasan" was laid in 1936. July 15, serial number 233/9671. However, in 1938 March 2 The People's Commissar of the Navy approves changes to the design of the monitors being built. Displacement was further increased and the number of main artillery towers was reduced to three. Instead of the fourth, it was decided to install a double 76 mm 39-K anti-aircraft gun turret. Now, the standard displacement should have reached 1630 tons, the total - 1790 tons, the length of the ship - 83 m, the draft - 2.85 m. Project 1190 monitors were built with such weapons, but their dimensions were even increased. 260 sections were shipped to the Far East and in 1939. November 4 the keel was relaid at the Khabarovsk factory no. 368. Monitors were built slowly and problematically due to changes in armament and the increased mass of the main artillery turrets. Since the B-28 was produced by the "Bolshevik" factory, when the blockade of Leningrad began, their production was stopped and, due to the small series, it was not renewed anywhere. However, "Perekop" and "Sivaš" had already been launched, which revived the idea to modify the B-2-LM turrets. In 1943 the development of B-2-LMT turrets with improved armor was completed and in 1946 produce six B-2-LMTs for the second and third monitors of the 1190 project. The main ship was launched in 1940. August 30; in September 25, 1940 renamed to "Chasan", 1942 November 4 entered service and was assigned to the North Pacific Fleet. The beginning of the war between the USSR and Japan was met in Nikolaevsk on the Amur. He did not participate in hostilities. After 1945 served as a training ship. On January 12, 1949 he was retrained as a sea monitor and on July 8, 1951 - as a river monitor. In 1955 September 7 the monitor was decommissioned and preserved. 1960 March 23 the ship was disarmed, removed from the Navy and transferred to the Khabarovsk Shipyard, where it was used for auxiliary purposes. A moderately complex, well designed and richly detailed model of the "Chasan" heavy monitor (1951 look) for intermediate to advanced modelers.

The publication is divided into pages, but fully complete, combined into a set with a plastic spine.
