A series of test meteorological missiles was built at the Aviation Institute in 1965-70 by order of the State Institute of Hydrology and Meteorology in Poland. The “Meteor-2H” rocket was made to replace the “Meteor-I” rocket, used before. The first of these rockets launched in February 1968. The aim of these rockets was to raise the “Ramzes” meteorological probes to an altitude of 60-70 km, which would collect and send meteorological data, while parachuting. But these missiles faced aerodynamic and resistance problems. A total of 7 rockets were produced, which differed in construction and painting.
Rocket Nr. 07 can be assembled from the publication as a model. An uncomplicated model, recommended for beginners and those with little modeling experience, but requiring care and attention. Some of the details are printed in silver color. The model is well designed and well detailed, but simple - suitable even for beginner modelers.
