After the completion of the "Apollo" flights of the lunar program, unused equipment remained at NASA's disposal, including the "Saturn V" rocket. The "Apollo" Applications Program" was launched to re-employ these rockets and further develop the technologies, associated with them. This resulted in the creation and launch of "Skylab", the US space science base. This base was created from the S-IVB III stage of the "Saturn V" rocket, which launched it into orbit. The rocket thus modified is named "Saturn INT-21". The transport of crews and cargo to and from the station is carried out by smaller "Saturn 1B" rockets. The start took place on May 14, 1973.
An uncomplicated sizeable well designed and detailed model, suitable for almost any experience modeler, but for a beginner modeler it should be glued under the supervision of a more experienced colleague and should not be one of the first, more complex models You glue.
