The "Santa Maria" is the flagship, that Christopher Columbus used to discover America in 1492. It was a nao-type three-masted carrac, that did not exceed 25 meters in length. The "Santa Maria" was a single-deck, three-masted ship with rigged straight sails. His sail equipment consisted of 5 sails: a jib, a mainsail, a grot-Marseille, a Latin bizan and a blind on the bowsprit. It was slower, than Columbus' other ships, but it stood out for its reliability during storms, but it never reached American shores.

The "Nina" is a Spanish caravel, one of the three ships, that Christopher Columbus used on his first expedition to discover America in 1492. "Nina's" real name is "Santa Clara". The name "Nina" probably comes from the name of its owners, the Niño brothers from Moguer.

The models are well designed and detailed, not too complicated, so we recommend gluing them even for advanced beginners and modelers with little experience, working under the supervision of a more experienced colleague, but it will not be an easy job. The flags are printed on double-side printing on so-called "canvas" paper. The publication is equipped with a set of laser-cut cardboard of the required thickness frame and thickening details, but there is also a simple version of these details, drawn and printed on thin paper. Equipment of the secondary cladding details are provided.
