"Papegojan" ("Parrot") is a Swedish pinnace, built in a Dutch shipyard in the first half of the 17th century. The ship was built in 1720 at the beginning and in 1624 was enlisted in the Swedish Navy. The ship was armed with 14 3-pounder guns and 2 5-pounder guns. The total length of the sailship is 35 meters, the width is about 6.5 meters. The warship was purchased by order of King of Sweden Gustav II Adolf  in 1623 and reached Sweden in 1624, almost on the eve of the Swedish-Polish war 1626-1629. Pinnas took an active part in this war, taking part, among other things, in the naval blockade of Gdańsk and the Battle of Oliva (1627). In 1628 again operated in the waters of the Gdańsk Bay, and in 1629 participated in the blockade of the port of Wismar. The ship was sunk at the end of the Thirty Years' War - in 1644.

The model is well designed and detailed, of medium complexity, so we recommend it only for intermediate and experienced modelers to glue, but under the supervision of a more experienced colleague, it can be glued by both an advanced beginner and a low-experience modeler, but it will not be an easy job. Flags are double-sided printed on so-called "canvas" paper. It is possible to make a model of both, a Dutch and a Swedish ship (optionally one).
