The keel of the brig "Oriol" (in russian - "Eagle") was laid in 1823 in the Astrakhan shipyard and later accepted for service in the Caspian flotilla. In 1824, 1825 and 1830-1832 he made long-term voyages in the Caspian Sea. He participated in 1826-1828 in the war with Persia, was part of the flotilla and helped the Russian army. In 1826 August 22 near the Absheron Peninsula, he recaptured the ship "Abram", captured by the Persians, and opened fire on the Persian soldiers, stationed on the shore. 1828-1829 during the war with Turkey, it provided food supplies to active army units from Astrakhan to the mouth of the Kura River. Dismantled in 1833 in Astrakhan. Brig's Captains: M.A. Genbachiov (1824–1826), A.N. Ladyzhenski (1827), V.T. Alenikov (1828-1832)

The magazine can be used to make a model of the 1824 brig, which is moderately complex and well detailed for its scale. Some parts and sails are double-sided printed on thin paper, the bottom and some other parts are printed with bronze "Metallic" type paint. There is a stock of colors and textures, a short textual instruction in Ukrainian, Polish, German and English, an average graphic instruction. The model is designed for modelers of all experience, except complete beginners. However, beginners and less experienced modelers are recommended to work under the supervision of a more experienced colleague.
