The ship was built in 1710 and had a displacement of 200 tons and was originally called "Konkord". In 1713 it was sold to Spain and later became the property of France. In 1717, when Blackbear captured the ship, he increased the number of cannons to 40, remodeled the interior and named the galleon "Queen Anne's Revenge." The culmination of Edward Teach's campaigns was the blockade of the entrance to Charleston harbor in May 1718. In June 1718 the ship ran aground off the coast of North Carolina. In April 2012, reports appeared in the press, that American archaeologists had found the remains of "Queen Anne's Revenge" and were preparing to raise the ship from the bottom of the sea.
However, this intricate, richly detailed and beautifully designed model does not represent this real ship, but rather a replica of the one featured in "Pirates of the Caribbean": "On Stranger Tides" and "Salazar's Revenge". Model for intermediate and advanced modelers only.
