"Slava Yekateriny" (Russian - «Слава Екатерины») is the first 66-gun line-ship of the Russian Black Sea Fleet. One of five ships of the same type, built at the Kherson Shipyard. Its keel was laid in 1780 July 7 (18), launched in 1783 on September 16 (27). Actively participated in the Russo-Turkish war. In 1972 in the city of Kherson, Ukraine, a monument to the First Ships was erected on the embankment of the Dnieper River, on the high pedestal of which was a model of the 40-ton ship "Slava Yekateriny", made of forged copper. On the front side, at the bottom of the pedestal, there is an inscription: "1783 m. the first 66-gun battleship "Slava Yekateriny" of the Black Sea Fleet was built here.
A complex, large, but interesting model. Recommended for intermediate to advanced naval enthusiasts. This model features a high level of detail, with some detail sheets, printed double-sided. The model features "black cladding" details. The model is intended for intermediate and experienced modelers, but it will not be an easy job for them either. The model has a lot of details, but the abundant and informative graphic instructions will greatly help in the process of gluing the model.
