"Delft" is a 50-gun line ship of the Republic of the United Provinces (now Holland), built on May 16, 1783 in Delfshaven. He made his first combat voyage to the Mediterranean Sea, where he destroyed pirates and protected the Dutch merchant fleet. On the second trip to the same region, 75 Dutch were freed from Algerian captivity. In 1795 France seized the territory of the Republic of the United Provinces and established the puppet Republic of Batavia. "Delft" was preemptively disarmed in order to avoid its use for possible insurgent purposes. But soon it was re-armed with 60 cannons and sent to war with Great Britain. On October 11, 1797 he participated in the battle of Camperduin, where he was captured by the British. But four days later it sank during towing to Britain.
An uncomplicated simplified model of a sail ship, which does not even require tying standing rigging - it is printed on sheets of transparent plastic and is used as a structural element for fastening the mast and sails. Most items are double-sided. A model for beginners and modelers with little experience. To make a model without errors and hassles, it is better to work under the supervision of a more experienced modeler.
