Saettia is a merchant sailship, that sailed from the Tyrrhenian Sea to the east coast of Spain in the 13th - 18th centuries. It was not only used for trade, but was also used in military operations as auxiliary vessels. Appreciated for speed and maneuverability. In the 16th century they accounted for about 40% of Genoa's maritime trade. Often mixed with polacres. The length ranged from 15 to 25 meters, always carrying only Latin triangular sails, usually three-masted.

A small, but quite complex model, although not so much, that it would not be assemble by an advanced beginner modeler, only he should work under the supervision of a more experienced modeler and this should not be one of the first more complex models. And for those, who have experienced it - a good relaxation after more complex models. The sails and flag are printed on both sides.
