During the III Silesian Uprising the rebels used armored trains in many sections of the front. This was greatly helped by the developed railway structure of the region. At the end of the uprising, the rebels had 14 units of this weapon, united in 4 divisions. Most of the trains were made up of wagons, sent from Poland, but a few trains were built by their own efforts. “Zygmunt Powstaniec” is built and shaped in the Zawadsk railway workshop and iron foundry. Its construction was completed on May 17, 1921. It was named "Zygmunt Powstaniec", and after the formation of the Armored Train Inspectorate in the rebel forces on June 1, 1921 it was also given the number 14. His deployment station was Zawadsk. On May 25 he participates in the defense of Zębowiczi, during which several of his wagons were damaged and he’s crew has among casualties. It was directed to the "Laura" foundry in Siemianowiczi for repair. After repairs, on June 6 it was again directed to the same combat region, where it fought until the 10th. He was later sent to Lublinec and stayed there until the end of the uprising. At the beginning of July he covered the return of units of Army Group "North" to Herbus near Czestochowa. Later - on July 5 - it is directed to Kielce. From there, part of its structure is sent to Poznań. There the train is disbanded, some of the wagons are sent to serve in the armored trains of the Polish Army. Armor was dismantled for other wagons and they were sent as regular wagons to the Katowice Railway Directorate.

Although on a small scale, it is not very complicated and not short model of the railway structure, which, under the supervision of a more experienced colleague, can be perfectly assembled by modellers with little experience. Although otherwise, this model is more suitable for intermediate and experienced modelers.
