T 203 - USSR shunting diesel locomotive

Serial Soviet shunting diesel locomotive with hydraulic transmission, produced at the Kaluga machine-building plant. In parallel with the TGK production of two-axle diesel locomotives, the Kaluga Machine-Building Plant also designed and in 1960 began to produce a more powerful and stronger two-axle diesel locomotive, named TGK2 (diesel locomotive with hydraulic drive of the Kaluga plant, type 2), intended for work on the railways of industrial enterprises and as a shunting locomotive in railway stations, with a maximum trailer weight of up to 700 tons. Two versions of these locomotives were produced: TGK2 - a diesel locomotive with two gearbox operating modes - shunting and train (the locomotive of this version is represented by a model from the publication) and TGK2-1 - a diesel locomotive without a gearbox for train mode.

A small, well-designed and richly detailed model of the T-203 diesel locomotive for intermediate and advanced modellers. The model has detailed driver's cabin, engine compartment, chassis, suspension elements, exterior detailing. Even the version without internal equipment and with opaque glasses is quite complicated, so modelers with less experience should work only under the supervision of a more experienced colleague and simplify something in the chassis.
