E6ACTa "Dragon 2" is a six-axle electric locomotive, designed for puling heavy freight trains up to 4500 thousand tons. The newest technologies are used in the production of these locomotives, which provide high comfort working conditions for drivers. The main value of "Dragon 2" is high traction power, which, together with the large mass of the locomotive, effective anti-skid system and all driving axles, each of which has its own separate engine, allows pulling very heavy freight trains. "Dragon" is powered by a constant current of 3 kW or an alternating current of 15 or 25 kW. Versions with a diesel engine (lower traction power) are also offered, which are designed to tow lighter weight units and can develop lower speeds at full load. In Poland "Dragon 2" locomotives are used by "Lotos", "Freightliner", PKP "Cargo", "Newag", ZPK "Szumowo", "Comet" and "LTC" railway companies.
The simple model of the locomotive "Dragon 2", belonging to the company "Freightliner" and the more complex two models of the bulk freight wagons (also of the company "Freightliner") can be made from this publication by a modeler of any experience and it is not necessary, that he work under the supervision of a more experienced colleague. Unlike other "Extra Model" railway models (with a few exceptions), this one has a framework, that strengthens the model itself and makes it easier to glue.
