Series TEM 2 diesel locomotives, produced in the USSR since 1960. The Briansk Locomotive Plant also produced these machines for export. "TEM 2" appeared on Polish railways in 1974. Two years later the Polish PKP bought locomotives of this type and here they are marked "SM 48" and served mostly at border transshipment stations. Even in 2005 (when the magazine was published), about 300 "TEM 2" and 130 "SM 48" copies were used. By the way, these locomotives served, and maybe still serve in "Lietuvos Geležinkeliai".

Two complete models of two locomotives in different painting, which can easily be put assembled by novice modelers under the supervision of a more experienced colleague, only they should avoid making cab equipment. Although You can try - and maybe it will turn out well... If not, we glue the opaque windows. Although those windows are so ti-i-i-iny.
