At the beginning of the XX century, with the development of industrial rail transport, cheaper, safer, simpler inter-company modes of transport, than steam locomotives were sought. One solution was battery electric locomotives. Such small locomotives, despite their small size and low speed, have proven to be the best means of inter-company communication and are still being built. The AEG Schleppfahrzeug Grose II 1930, presented in the publication, was manufactured by AEG in 1930 for the water supply company “Stadtwerke Hildesheim”.
A small, uncomplicated model suitable for any experience enthusiast.
