ORP "Jastrząb" (P-551) is an American single-hull World War II S / S-1 class submarine. This type of submarine formed the basis of the U.S. submarine fleet during the interwar period. Along with five other S-ships, the “S-25” was transferred to the British Navy under a “Lend Lease” agreement, which in turn lent it to the Polish Navy. On May 2, 1942, Allied surface vessels, accompanying the PQ-15 caravan, sank by mistake. During six months of service in the Polish Navy, the ship managed to sail 3,000 nautical miles, and the crew was awarded the “Order of the Fighting Cross” for covering up a cargo ship, attacked by a German ship.

It is not a very complex, but well-designed and, like a submarine, richly detailed model, which can be freely glued by an advanced beginner, working under the supervision of a more experienced modeler.
