Excavators EO-2621 have been manufactured since 1967 at the Kiev “Red Excavator” («Красный экскаватор») plant and at the Zlatoust excavator plant in the Chelyabinsk region. Production also took place at the Borodiansk excavator plant in the Kiev region. Later, the production of these machines was started in several other Commonwealth of Independent States machinery manufacturing companies. The EO-2621 - rotary hydraulic excavator, was designed for loading and small-scale excavation work on Category I, II, III soils up to 3.0 m depth and 2.2 m unloading height. The machine is equipped with two types of work tools: an excavator and a bulldozer. The main working implement of the excavator equipment is a unified bucket with a volume of 0.25 m3, which can work both towards and from the excavator. The bulldozer is a permanent piece of equipment and can be used for trench leveling or light planning work. Also - as an overweight. The excavator is mounted on the base of the wheeled tractor JuMZ-6 (ЮМЗ-6). These tractors are classified as universal plows and belong to traction class 1.4 for a wide range of agricultural work, used in construction and industry. Manufactured at the Southern Tractor Plant from 1970 to 2001 and has been modified several times. JuMZ-6 composition - classic for this class of machines, wheel formula 4x2. The base of the tractor consists of halves consisting of two side members and a cross member. Clutches and gearbox housings are mounted on this structure. The tractor is equipped with a four-cylinder four-stroke diesel engine D65m (Д65м) with a power of 60 h. p. (44 kW).
A sophisticated but very interesting model for intermediate and experienced modelers.
