The city of Zelechov is located 85 km from Lublin, 52 km from Warsaw and 85 km from Siedlce. He, like all Polish commune centers, has its own Voluntary Fire Service. Originally, it was the Zelechov Fire Protection Society. In 1902, Stefan Dzewulski, Kazimierz Wojcechowski, Jozef Gorzinski (then voit), Stefan Weronika (then teacher) and Wladislaw Kolarczik established the Fire Service in Ojrzanov. The village of Ojrzanov and Zelechov were then one village. In 1923, the building of the Fire Station was built on Kosciuszka Street in Zelechov. This service was located in the building until 1977. That year, a new building on Traugutt Street was handed over to Zhelechov firefighters. In 1985, after repairs, the old station became the headquarters of the Fire Brigade Club. In 2006, a clock was installed in the tower, beating every half hour.
A moderately sophisticated, well-designed and well-detailed fire station model, that will perfectly fit modeler of any experience. Only beginners and inexperienced modelers should have a colleague nearby to advise in difficult moments. Not only the station itself, but also the “STAR-25” and “JELCZ” fire trucks, used in the station, can be made from the publication on the same scale.
