PaK 44 (German Panzerabwehrkanone 44) is a German towed heavy anti-tank gun of 128 mm caliber of the World War II period. Its first prototype was produced in 1943, and not long after, serial production began in 1944, which ended with the production of only 50 units of this weapon. The maximum range of the shot was 24,500 m, the initial velocity of the projectile was 935 m/s. The PaK 44 was designed, using the experience, gained during the battles on the Eastern Front in 1942-44. They showed, that it is necessary to have a cannon, capable of destroying the enemy's armored vehicles at long distances (2000-3000 meters), which allowed to stay outside the zone of his fire, which made it possible to reduce the influence of his numerical superiority on the course of the battle. PaK - 44 was the heaviest anti-tank gun of the Wehrmacht, it had excellent characteristics, but the high cost of production and the lack of raw materials prevented the development of large-scale production of this weapon. The PaK-80 version of this cannon was installed in the “Jagdtiger” and planned to be installed in the “Maus” and “E-100” tanks.

A model of medium complexity, suitable for intermediate and advanced modellers, well designed both graphically and structurally, can be made in one of three paint options, differing in barrel markings. Working under the supervision of a more experienced modeler, this model can also be built by modelers with little experience.
