The first knowledge of navigational bonfires, fired in Darlowo, reaches us from the 18th century. They were located on both sides of the mouth of the river Basket. A small building was built at the end of the 19th century, which housed the pilot station, and a navigation light was built on the third floor of the tower next to it. In 1927, the tower was raised by one floor and a lighthouse site was built on the roof. Such a lighthouse has survived almost unchanged to this day and can be seen upon entering the port. The lighthouse is visible 15 nautical miles (27.8 km) away.
The model is not complicated and is perfect for beginners and inexperienced modelers. And more experienced people can try to "squeeze" more, than the publication gives.
