Niechorze - Maritime lighthouse in Niechorze (Poland)

In order to improve shipping conditions in the Odra Lowland region between Swinoujscie and Kolobrzeg, it was decided to build a new lighthouse. The location of Niechorze is selected. The construction of the lighthouse was completed in 1866, its tower as if rising from a two-story red brick building, built of brick, initially in the shape of a rectangle, later transforming into an octagon. The lighthouse was built on a high 21-meter-high coastal hill, and in 1945 a cannonball destroyed the tower during combat operations. However, it was rebuilt and the lighthouse reopened in 1948. In 2000, the lighthouse was repaired, and after repairs, the color gamut of the lighthouse changed. The model depicts a lighthouse after 2,000 years modernization. The lighthouse is visible for 20 nautical miles (37 km).

The model is not complicated and is perfect for beginners and inexperienced modelers. And more experienced people can try to "squeeze" more, than the edition gives.
