Bayraktar TB2 is a medium-range reusable drone, that can be controlled remotely or autonomously. The maximum take-off weight is 650 kg and the wingspan is 12 meters. The maximum take-off height is 6750 meters, and the operational range is 150 km from the control station. The cruising speed of the drone is 130 km/h and the maximum speed - 220 km/h. The Bayraktar TB2 has a single 100 h. p. “Rotax 912” engine. The drone's main armament is a 37.5 kg long-range air-to-ground anti-tank missile “UMTAS ATGM” and 22.5 kg “MAM-L” (Mini Akıllı Mühimmat, English “Smart Micro Munition”) laser-targeted high-precision bombs. Although "Bayraktar" means "flag bearer" in Turkish, the aircraft is named after the engineer, who designed it. “Bayraktars” became very famous during the initial phase of the Russian invasion in Ukraine, where Ukrainian soldiers used them to attack Russian supply columns and armored vehicles with great success. Later their usefulness declined as the Russians began using “Tor” and “Pancyrj” active anti-aircraft defenses to defend their convoys.
Only suitable for intermediate to advanced modelers. Cladding of very complex body shapes will require either the use of a “secondary cladding” or increased care during work. The model can be made by painting the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
