The “Lohner” L was an Austro-Hungarian World War I flying boat, a biplane. It took off for the first time in 1915 and serial production began soon after, which ended with more than 100 examples being produced. The aircraft is equipped with one “Austro-Daimler” VI engine, developing 160 h. p. power The plane was 10.26 m long, the wingspan was 16.2 m, it developed up to 105 km/h. speed. Armament consisted of one machine gun. The machine could also take a load of bombs weighing up to 200 kg. The “Lohner” L was designed and built as a new reconnaissance flying boat, primarily for use by the Austro-Hungarian Navy. In order to shorten the design time and reduce the costs of the manufacturers, it was decided to take the “Lohner” E model as an example, installing a completely new engine in it, which significantly improved the flight characteristics of the plane. During production 4 main versions of this boat were built: “Lohner” L (basic version), “Lohner” R (photo reconnaissance version), “Lohner” S (educational - training version) and “Lohner” L.1 (version with “Isotta- Fraschini" V.4a engine).
A fairly large and complex, well-designed and well-detailed model, intended for intermediate to advanced modelers only. Perfectly detailed interior of the cabins, engine, small details of the plane's exterior. Colors reserves are available.
