The “Pfalz” Dr.I was a World War I fighter prototype. The growing interest in single-seat triplane fighters led “Pfalz” to develop its own fighter of this concept, the Dr.I. The first test flights were made in October 1917 and the first batch of 10 units was sent to the front in April 1918. It was received by Jasta 73 pilots. Pilots, who took part in test flights of the new fighter, noticed, that the plane was too slow, and its Sh III engine often failed, making it unsuitable for front-line use. Therefore, after producing these 10 copies, the company refused further production of Dr.I.

The model is perfect for a modeler of any experience, only beginners and modelers with little experience should assemble this model under the supervision of a more experienced colleague and avoid rushing - there is nothing to simplify in this model. The most difficult stage is the installation of the wing box. Colors reserves are in stock.
