The aircraft "ZLIN-42" was designed at the aviation factory in Morava Otrkovice. The plane took off for the first time on October 17, 1967. “ZLIN-42” is a training aircraft for learning the basics of aerobatics. In 1975 13 of these planes were also bought by the Aeroclub of the People's Republic of Poland, they were used for initial and advanced training and initial aerobatics training. Later, 52 new planes of the “ZLIN-42M” modification reached Poland. “ZLIN-42M” is an improved version of “ZLIN-42”. The improvements mostly affected the propeller used and the additional plate of the keel.
A simple, but well-detailed model for modelers of all experience, only beginners and less experienced modelers should stick this model under the supervision of a more experienced colleague. Well detailed cockpit, engine maquette, separated control plates. However, for beginners and modelers with little experience we recommend not to make the cockpit equipment, engine model, and to make the cockpit cover opaque.
