Kondor D.6 - German World War I era biplane fighter - prototype with non-retractable landing gear. The plane is equipped with one "Oberursel" Ur.III engine, the power of which reached 145 h. p. The plane took off for its first flight in 1918, but the fighter was never mass-produced. Armament consisted of two IMG 08/15 machine guns of 7.92 mm caliber, mounted on the front above the engine. The D.6 was built by Walter Rethel at the “Kondor Flugzeugwerke Gmbh” factory. When designing the fighter, it was aimed to improve visibility from the cockpit as much as possible, so a very atypical upper wing design was chosen, which actually consisted of two separate wings. Also, the plane turned out to be very aerodynamic and maneuverable. But the prototype did not fulfill the hopes, placed on it - it turned out to be quite slow, other flight characteristics were also far from good. After building only a prototype, the project was cancelled.

An uncomplicated, but well designed and richly detailed model, that will suit any experience modeler, only beginners and less experienced modelers should stick this model under the supervision of a more experienced colleague and avoid rushing - there is nothing to simplify in this model. The interior of the cabin is perfectly rendered, the engine layout, the metal parts are printed in "aluminum" color, there is a color reserve.
