The aircraft BV P.280.03 was the last tailless scheme, designed by “Blohm und Voss”. The fighter is equipped with one 12-cylinder “Daimler Benz” DB 603L engine and two accelerators (2100 h.p. with MW 50 system - methanol - water injection), which are mounted behind the pilot's cabin. The engine drove a pusher propeller and a turbocharger mounted under the fuselage on the right side. But it was planned to install a jet engine on the plane later, so development work on the BV 208 was stopped. The wing with a straight leading edge had a radius of 300, nodes for hanging small-caliber bombs were attached under the wings, ailerons and flaps were installed on the wing. This type of wing mechanization was tested in the “Kauba” V-6 airplane by “Blohm und Voss” and “Skoda”, which was later renamed “Skoda – Kauba” SL - 6. The plane was equipped with a three-point landing gear with a front wheel and all legs were retracted into the fuselage forward. The entire armament was mounted in the front of the fighter and consisted of three 30 mm “MK 108” cannons.

A very interesting model from the “Luftwaffe – 1946” series. The model is perfect for a modeler of any experience. All control plates are given separately from the main ones and can be made movable, finely detailed cockpit interior. There is a reserve of colors and instructions in Russian. For less experienced modelers we recommend making the model without moving control plates, and for beginners, with the undercarriage included, without cockpit detailing, and with an opaque cockpit hood. Both of these modelers should work under the supervision of a more experienced colleague.
