PWS-54 was a Polish-built prototype of a passenger-communication and mail plane. It was a high-wing monoplane, built in the interwar period. It took off for the first time in 1933, but was not serially produced. One 220 h. p. power engine Skoda Wright "Whirlwind" J5. The PWS-54 was designed by engineer Zbislaw Ciolkosz at the Podlaska Wytwórnia Samolotów - PWS under the order of the Ministry of Communications. It was intended to replace the aging PWS - 24 aircraft. Compared to its predecessor, the new plane had to be faster and have better flight characteristics. It was expected to accommodate at least four passengers. But the new machine did not fulfill the hopes, placed on it, due to the short flight range and relatively small charge. In addition, the installation of PWS-24 new engines, which are being prepared for replacement, significantly improved its flight characteristics. PWS - 54 was used for some time for local flights, but later written off.

Well designed and richly detailed model with full cabin and cockpit equipment, perfectly reproduced engine layout, control plates given only separated from the main plates. A model for intermediate and advanced modelers. However, modelers with less experience can also glue it together, but they should not make internal equipment, make the glasses opaque, and simplify the engine models. Advice from a more experienced colleague wouldn't hurt either.
