“Albatros Flugzeugwerke” was founded in 1909. In 1913, in cooperation with Ernst Heinkel, the first successful airplane was created - the “Albatros” B. I. The airplane was installed in the 100 h. p. power engine “Mercedes” D. I. The aircraft was used for pilot training. The good flight characteristics were of interest to the Austro - Hungarian military aviation authorities. Licensed production of these machines was soon launched by the Austrian company “Phоenix”, where it received the name "Phoenix" B. I.
The model is complex and requires a lot of work, but under the supervision of a more experienced colleague, a less experienced modeler, who has already a few assembled models of similar complexity, can assemble it.
