The La-5F fighter evolved from the La-5 aircraft, which was constantly improved and had some major shortcomings, and which was construct in April 1942 by Lavockin KB and put into series production. In the autumn of 1942, the M82 engines were upgraded and marked M-82F, and installation in new fighters began in December. Airplanes with these engines are marked La-5F and differ significantly in their characteristics from their predecessors. Many future Heroes of the USSR fight in these fighters.
Two of them - Ivan Kozedub and Ivan Sytov - machines and can be assembled from this edition. Yes - both fighters. A complicated model of a simple aircraft. The designer did his best to make the simple shapes difficult to assemble. The work is further complicated by the vague and very cluttered graphic instruction. Anyway, the model is for beginners, but it is better for them not to touch it.
