“Bayraktar” TB2 is a medium-range reusable drone, that can be operated remotely or autonomously. The maximum take-off weight is 650 kg and the wingspan is 12 meters. The maximum take-off altitude is 6750 meters and the operational range is 150 km from the control station. The drone has a cruising speed of 130 km/h and a maximum speed of 220 km/h. The “Bayraktar” TB2 has a single 100 hp “Rotax” 912 engine. The main armament of the drone is 37.5 kg long-range air-to-ground anti-tank missiles “UMTAS ATGM” and 22.5 kg “MAM-L” (Mini Akıllı Mühimmat, English - Smart Micro Munition) laser-guided high-precision bombs. Although "Bayraktar" means "flag bearer" in Turkish, the aircraft is named after the engineer, who designed it.
Suitable for modelers of all experience, beginners and those with little experience should work under the supervision of more experienced colleagues. Cladding of very complex body shapes will require either the use of a secondary cladding or increased care during work. The model can be made with Turkish or Ukrainian armed forces paint.
