The German dive bomber, the most popular under the name "Stuka", which was built by Herman Polman in 1933, competed against the "He - 118" in the competition, after several modifications and improvements, it was sent to serial production. The most popular and mass produced version was the Ju - 87B with 1200 h. p. power engine "Jumo - 211". The aircraft was produced in various versions, but the main ones were A, B, D and G, and a special naval version, C, for the aircraft carrier “Graf Zeppelin”. A total of 5,720 copies of this bomber were produced.
This well-designed and richly detailed model of rather complex shapes represents the extended-range version of the Ju-87R-2, which fought in North Africa in 1941-42 as part of KG.54. The model is intended for intermediate and advanced modellers, but, when working under the supervision of a more experienced colleague, this model can be assembled by an advanced beginner modeler, but not as one of the first more complex models.
