The experience, gained during the operation of the Bf-109B, was used in the construction of the Bf-109C version of the fighter. They are fitted with a slightly lower power engine, which, combined with a new propeller, made it possible to increase the maximum speed. The main armament has been increased by installing two more MG 17 machine guns on the wing. The increase in armament shortened the length of the wing panels. The C3 was fitted with up to 20 mm MG FF cannons. The first Bf-109C left the factory in April 1938, producing a total of only 55 units. The fighters of this version were used by a company in Poland in September 1939.

A medium-sophisticated model with excellent detail, suitable even for novice modelers, but not as one of the first, more sophisticated models. And work should be under the supervision of a more experienced colleague. The model depicts an airplane, that belonged to 2 / JG 71 in September 1939 and was involved in the occupation of Poland. It is possible to make a model with separate control planes or with separate ones.
