Having gathered a wealth of information and practical knowledge in the design and manufacture of the Bf-108 “Tajfun”, a team of Willis Meshersmith, Robert Lucer, Hubert and Richard Bauer set out to design an innovative fighter, that had to meet order from the III Reich Ministry of Aviation. In the autumn of 1934, a prototype with the 695 h. p.powerBritish production engine Rolls - Royce "Kastrel" V12 was launched for the first time. In January 1936, the first flight was made by a prototype with the German engine Junkers "Jumo" 210A, which developed in the 610 h. p. power. However, series production of the Bf-109A version has not begun, as a new aircraft with the 730 h. p. power motor Junkers "Jumo" 210Da has already been prepared, which is marked Bf-109B. The first version of this aircraft had a wooden two-bladed fixed-pitch propeller, which in subsequent fighters had already been replaced with a metal variable-pitch propeller. The planes were constantly improved, and the installation of radio stations began. These fighters were baptized in the Spanish Civil War as part of the “Condor” Legion. A total of 395 "B" version "Messers" were produced.

A medium-sophisticated model with excellent detail, suitable even for novice modelers, but not as one of the first, more sophisticated models. And work should be under the supervision of a more experienced colleague. The model depicts an airplane, that was based at Vienna's Aspen Airport in 1937. It is possible to make a model with separate control planes or with separate ones.
