During World War I, large-scale G-series bombers manufactured at the “Gothfer Wagonfabrik” plant in Germany, were of great importance for strategic bombing. This series was started by G. I, constructed by designers led by Oscar Ursinus. The first version of the G.IV aircraft took off in 1915. After its successful testing, series production began, which lasted until the end of the war. In total, about 230 aircraft were produced and they were used on both - the eastern and western fronts. A sophisticated and highly detailed model depicting a licensed bomber, manufactured at the “LVG” plant and owned by the Austro-Hungarian Air Force in 1918.
The model is recommended for intermediate and experienced modelers due to its size and complex biplane scheme.
