Messerschmitt Bf-108B-2 "Taifun" - the German multi-purpose aircraft

The creation of the plane dates back to the beginning of the thirties of the 20th century, and more specifically to 1934. In that year an annual flight of tourist planes took place in Warsaw, which was called "Challenge" in the international space. Despite the fact, that the Bf-108A did not make it to the winner's podium (5th, 6th, 10th place), it still became famous and attracted the attention of the Luftwaffe. After modernization and rework, version B aircraft became widely used as a disposal, communication and courier machine for the commanders of the III Reich. A total of 1,200 airplanes of this brand were produced. The example, You are about to model, was used in North Africa and its most famous campaign was the Heinkell He - 111 and SM -82 bombers flight correction, which was supposed to bomb the British SAS fuel depot at Fort Lama in Chad. The hike was successful. Many of these durable, unpretentious airplanes survived the war and after it flew in dozens of countries, even now they can still be found not only in museums, but also flying very well.

An uncomplicated, well-designed and beautiful model airplane, perfect even for a novice modeler, working under the supervision of a more experienced colleague. Only it does not have to be one of the first more complex models.
