PZL-101 "Gawron" was designed in 1956 by WSK-Okecie under the license of the Soviet aircraft "Yak-12M". Changes included reducing the aircraft's weight, moving the center of mass and landing gear towards the tail, and increasing the angle of attachment of the wing to 4 degrees, which improved stability. The cockpit roof above the pilots is glazed to improve visibility from the cockpit. Since 1960, “Gawron” has been serially produced in the main agricultural version "G-1". Also serial powered version "G-2" for sanitary, disposal and glider retrieval purposes and passenger transport. The PZL-101A version, produced since 1962 with a larger engine and propeller, rebuilt engine hoods, a door installed in the cockpit and on the right side, higher pilot seats. A dust filter is also installed. In 1964 "Gawron" was modernized again: the "hump" was liquidated and from 1965 all PZL-101A were produced only in this version. By 1972, when the production of these planes ended, 330 “Gawrons” were produced, most of which were used in Poland. However, they were exported to Bulgaria, Tunisia, Egypt, Sudan, Ethiopia, and to some extent to the USSR. At least one was included in the aeroclubs of the Lithuanian SSR (it is not clear which one), later it was restored and still flies in Lithuania with the registration LY-BAU.

A moderately complex, well-detailed model for modelers of all experience. For beginners and modelers with little experience, we recommend gluing the model under the supervision of a more experienced colleague, and for beginners, do not make the interior of the cabin yet, and make the glasses opaque.
