Boeing 787 - 8 "Dreamliner" - medium wide-body long-haul passenger liner. It took off for the first time on December 15, 2009 and made its first commercial flight in 2011. Designed to transport from 210 to 330 passengers, depending on the seating configuration. The plane is not one of the most economical in terms of fuel consumption. The fuselage and wing of the “Dreamliner” are 50% by weight made of composite materials. Artificial fibers, aluminum, titanium, 10% steel are mostly used in production. The remaining materials make up only 5% of the total weight. The 787-9 version is elongated and designed to carry 250-290 passengers. Polish Airlines has ordered 4 aircraft of this type, the first of which is to be delivered in late 2021 - early 2022. It is scheduled for registration at SP-LSC.

A small, but also simple model of a passenger liner, which even a modeler with little experience can glue perfectly under the supervision of a more experienced colleague. The model depicts a Polish Airlines “LO” “Dreamliner”, marked SP-LSC with a mock “Polish Independence 100 years” painting. It can be made both in the "aerodrome" position - with the chassis released - and in the "flight" position on the stand, the details of which are in the publication. It is possible to make a model in the "starter" mode - on a stand, but still with the chassis not included.
