Tupolev SB-2M100 - the Soviet/ Republic of Spain fast front-line bomber

Tupolev SB-2 - Soviet light fast front-line bomber of the Second World War. The aircraft was built with a mid-fuselage wing and classic undercarriage - retractable in flight. The first flight of the plane took place in 1934, it was produced from 1935-1939 or even until 1941. In total, about 6,600-6,900 aircraft of this type were produced. In the SB-2/M-103 version, the plane is equipped with two Klimov M-103 engines, the power of each of which was 960 h. p. The armament of the aircraft consisted of four 7.62 mm machine guns ShKAS. The bomber could carry a bomb load of up to 600 kilograms. The Tuupolev SB-2 was designed as a fast front-line bomber with a strong focus on combat performance - especially maximum speed. During production, a number of development versions of the aircraft were created, including: SB-2/M-100A (version with 860 h. p, engines), SB-2bis (main production series) and SB-2/M-103 (version with engines of each power 960 h. p.). During the service, efforts were also made to strengthen the aircraft's defensive armament. SB-2 bombers of various versions participated in the Spanish Civil War (1936-1939), the Winter War with Finland (1939-1940) and the first period of the war with Germany (1941-1945).

A complex, well-designed and highly detailed model of a beautiful aircraft, that fought in the Spanish Civil War as part of the Republic of Spain AF. It details everything possible in 1:33 scale - cabin equipment, armament, engines, bomb hatches and bombs themselves, chassis and its niches, excellent exterior detailing. There is a large stock of colors, where necessary, the details are printed with double-sided printing. The model is intended for intermediate and advanced modelers only. But, without detailing the cabins, making the cabin canopies opaque, not detailing the engines and bomb hatches, making the chassis included, the model can be overcome even by modelers with little experience, working under the supervision of a more experienced colleague. There are no text instructions - it can be covered with a child's palm, graphic - although it is large and detailed, but the layout of the drawings... the devil breaks his horns.
