Airco D.H.6 - British biplane training aircraft. The aircraft is equipped with a V-shaped engine RAF 1a, developing 90 h. p. power. The first flight of the prototype took place in 1916. About 2,300 copies of this successful aircraft were produced during serial production. The Airco D.H.6 was originally designed as a training aircraft for British pilots, fighting mainly on the Western Front. The design of this aircraft focused on minimizing production costs and facilitating any major overhaul of the machine. Efforts were also made to achieve the highest possible level of flight safety for both - the instructor and the student-pilot. Airco D.H.6 began to be supplied to aviation schools of Royal Air Force at the beginning of 1917. During operation, it basically confirmed the assumptions made during the design work. In 1917-1918 the Airco D.H.6 was also used as a submarine search aircraft, but due to its small payload, it was poorly suited for this role. In addition to the British Royal Air Force, the aircraft was also used by the Australian, Greek and Spanish AF.

A medium, uncomplicated, well designed and fairly detailed model of airplane for modellers of all experience. The model features perfectly detailed cabin interiors, visible engine parts, chassis, wings box and exterior details. The parts, which were left in the original plane's unpainted metal color, are printed in the magazine with silver "metallic" type paint. Colors reserve are available. For advanced beginners and modelers with little experience, it is recommended to glue the model under the supervision of a more experienced colleague, and it should not be the first time You glue a more complex model in Your career. The graphic instruction is just an example, the textual one - complete, but only general provisions (graphic addition).
