The first MIG-15s entered service in the Polish Air Force at the end of 1951. From the middle of 1952 the production of this type of aircraft began in Poland under a Soviet license. Here they are marked "Lim-1" ("Licencyjny myšliwiec 1" - "licensed fighter 1"). "Lis-1" engines are installed in them. These engines were a licensed copy of the Soviet RD-45F engine. Later, according to the license, "MIG-15bis" airplanes were started to be manufactured in Poland and marked "Lim-2". In 1958 it was decided to convert a certain number of "Lim-1" into a two-seater version. This is how the training-combat version of the SBLim-1 fighters appeared. Later, they began to be modernized by replacing the rear part with the rear part of the "Lim-2" aircraft together with the engine. This is how the "SBLim-2" aircraft appeared. In the beginning of 1960 the modernization of the "Lim-1" began (later also "Lim-2") - they remade in to ground units support  and artillery fire control planes. The planes marked as "SBLim-1 Art" and "SBLim-2 Art".

A simple, but well-detailed and well-designed model of airplane, designed for beginners and less experienced modelers. Some details are greatly simplified. The model can be made in full version, improved version or simplified version - depending on Your abilities. The model represents the already "used" machine of the 7th Special Purpose Military Marine Fleet regiment, based in Siemirovichi, which flew here as early, as March 1993. Everything, that is possible and does not complicate the gluing process, is restored in the model - cabin equipment, chassis and its niches, suspended additional fuel tanks. Unfortunately, there are no colors in stock.
