Focke-Wulf Ta-152 - high-altitude fighter - interceptor monoplane of metal construction. Under the guidance of K. Tank, it was designed in the design office of the company "Focke-Wulf". This fast high-altitude fighter was developed on the basis of the FW-190 to intercept the attacks of the new American B-29 bombers. FW-190Ra-2 and Ra-3 were used as prototypes, equipped with "Jumo" 213E engines with MW50 and GM1 propulsion systems, hermetic cabins, hydraulic panels and chassis drive, instead of an electric one. Due to the fact, that the project had a number of fundamental differences from the base models, it also received a new designation - Ta-152 - in honor of the main designer, Kurt Tank. This type of aircraft served in small numbers in the German anti-aircraft defense system until the end of the war. JG 301 squadron was armed with these planes, which began to receive these planes only in January 1945, but only a few of them managed to participate in the battles of World War II. In February - April 1945, Luftwaffe pilots with Ta-152H fighters fought air battles with American and Soviet pilots several times and won 7 air victories.
A well-designed and detailed model of medium complexity, recreating the Focke-Wulf Ta-152H-1 fighter pilot Vilis Reshke (aircraft serial number 150168) fought in February-April 1945. The model has perfectly detailed cabin equipment, chassis, its niches, wing mechanization, exterior details. There is no engine detailing, the control plates are only separated from the main plates. Minimal color stock, excellent graphic instruction. The model is more intended for intermediate and experienced modelers. But, without making the cockpit equipment, wing mechanization, making opaque cockpit glasses, retracted landing gear, working under the supervision of a more experienced colleague, this model will perfectly stick to both advanced beginners and modelers with little experience.
