On July 22, 1984 the An-28 part of the Polish history began with the participation of representatives of the then Polish and USSR authorities. On that day the first airplane of this brand, manufactured by Mielec WSK took to the air. Five months later, the first plane was put into service and serial production began, mainly for the USSR market. The short takeoff and landing aircraft An-28 is designed by Antonov TKB in Kyiv. The prototype An-14M "Pchiolka" took to the air for the first time in September 1969. After many changes, the aircraft was designated An-28 in 1973, and in 1975 a version with turboprop engines "TVD-10" took to the air. In 1978 a contract was signed with WSK Mielec to produce the An-28, and WSK started to produce "TVD-10" ("PZL-10S") engines in Rzeszów. In the late 1980s the USSR canceled its order and the production of the plane stopped. A total of 176 An-28s were delivered to the USSR, two were produced for Polish customers - the Navy. Later, the basic modernization of the main An-28 version followed, the result of which was the new plane M28B, named "Bryza". The first version was the M28B "Bryza" 1R (reconnaissance version). After the first flight experience, the Polish Air Force and Air Defense units bought passenger-cargo versions of this type of aircraft, which could be quickly reconfigured into paratroopers landing or sanitary versions.
A large and fairly complex, well-designed and well-detailed colorful model for intermediate modelers. Well detailed cockpit and landing compartment of the paratroopers landing version, opening doors and rear ramp can be made. Well-detailed chassis, minimal niches, excellent exterior detailing. The model reproduces the aircraft, based at WSOSP Demblin, factory number AJG002-03 and entered service in February 2002.
