The Reggiane Re.2000, an Italian World War II single-seat fighter, is very similar in design to the American Seversky P-35. Serially produced in the Italian factory from May 1940 to December 1941. Licensed production in Hungary ended in August 1944. A total of 382 fighters were produced. These Italian planes were used in combat operations in September 1941, Hungarian fighters served in the air defense regiment from the beginning of the war, and from the autumn of 1941 they were used on the Eastern Front. The fighter was removed from the arsenal of the Italian Air Force in the middle of 1942, individual copies were used in Hungary as late as 1945.
A medium difficulty, well designed and richly detailed model in a nice mottled spotted camouflage. It is intended for intermediate and advanced modelers, but working under the supervision of a more experienced colleague and without detailing the interior of the cockpit, making the cockpit canopy opaque, landing gear included - in flight configuration - this model will be suitable for both beginners and modellers with little experience. Colors reserve are in stock. Where necessary, details are double-sided printed.
