The history of this plane began in 1931, when the German Ministry of Transport approached the Heinkel company with a request to create a single-seat fighter - a biplane, characterized by high maneuverability and high speed. The first flight of the He-49A prototype took place in 1932 in November. A total of 725 He-51 fighters were produced, of which 135 units participated in combat operations, carried out by the German "Kondor" legion in Spain. Since the Soviet fighters surpassed the He-51 in armament, speed and maneuverability, it was mainly used as a strike aircraft. Just before World War II, most of the He-51s were transferred to training units, where they flew until 1943.
A good and carefully executed project, quality printed in the Francoist Spain camouflage. We recommend this model for modelers of all experience, under the supervision of a more experienced colleague, this model is capable enough to be assembled by both the advanced beginner and the less experienced modeler. But it won't be an "easy walk".
