A British twin-engine racing aircraft, built for the MacRobertson Air Race by de Havilland aircraft manufacturer in 1934. in November. All 5 DH.88 units achieved flight records many times and were used by postal airlines. Many of the aerodynamic solutions, used in the construction of these aircraft, were later used by De Havilland in its famous high-speed fighter-bomber and reconnaissance aircraft, the DH.98 "Mosquito".
The elegant red-painted model recreates the "Grosvenor House" airplane. A good and careful project, neatly executed and perfectly printed. We recommend this model for modelers of all experience, under the supervision of a more experienced colleague, this model can be glued by both the advanced beginner and the modeler with little experience. But it will not be an "easy walk", it is possible, that the less experienced will have to abandon the detailing of the cockpit interior, the released chassis and the transparent cockpit hood - to make the model in flight configuration.
