The Messerschmitt Bf-109 is a single-engine propeller fighter monoplane, that was in service in the German Luftwaffe during the interwar and World War II years. Used as a fighter, interceptor, high-altitude fighter, fighter-bomber, reconnaissance aircraft. According to the number of copies produced (up to April 1945 - 33,984 units), it is one of the most massive fighters in the history of aviation. Willis Messerschmitt's new fighter took to the air for the first time on May 28, 1935. After the tests, the Luftwaffe ordered 10 more Bf-109s. The Bf-109E modification was essentially the first mass-produced version of this aircraft. These fighters fought throughout the war (in Poland, Scandinavia, North-West Europe and were the best everywhere. However, during the "Battle of Britain" the shortcomings of the "Emil" began to appear. In 1939, 80 Bf-109E were sold to Switzerland and they were used in the AF of this country until even at the end of the war.

A moderately complex, well-designed and well-detailed model for modelers of all experience. From the publication it is possible to make a model of the Swiss AF used Messerschmitt Bf-109E-3 with full cockpit, excellent landing gear detailing. For advanced beginners and modelers with little experience, we advise to glue this model under the supervision of a more experienced colleague, to make a simplified (no cockpit interior, with an opaque cockpit hood, landing gear included) model in the flight phase, and it should not be one of the first more complex models You built.
