In 1913 the English engineer O. M. Sopwith produced a two-seater sports plane "Tabloid" in his company. This machine is built according to the biplane scheme, single-pillar pair of all-wood construction. It was very simple and inexpensive to make. Aerodynamically, the airplane was very "clean" with a minimal amount of spears and spacers, and the spears were still given a sleek drop shape in the section. The entire plane was a wooden structure with steel strap spacers, covered in canvas, which was covered with varnish. Only the motor hood sheeting was made of aluminum sheet metal. The aircraft is equipped with a 7-cylinder radial rotary air-cooled “Gnom” engine with a pulling propeller. Wings with two spars, wooden construction, covered with canvas. The machines, produced in 1913, were controlled by turning the wings (goshing), the wings of the airplane, produced in 1914, already had ailerons.

An uncomplicated, well-detailed, well-designed small model for a modeler of any experience. Working under the supervision of a more experienced colleague, this model can be assembled by both advanced beginners and novice modelers. From the publication it is possible to assemble a model of an airplane, produced in 1914 without national markings.
